Birthday Bonanza

It's official: the marvelous miss M is 1 year old as of this past Friday! The anniversary of her birth began with a kiss from Mom at 6:10 a.m. and then a fun-filled day with mom and dad--but the true festivities were the next day, when we had 16 friends over to celebrate M's first big milestone.

A great time was had by all--and we're pretty sure M thought she looked pretty fetching in her green birthday dress. She had her first taste of angel food cake (she mostly mauled it, but liked the whipped cream) and particularly enjoyed the part where everyone sang to her.
